I think the graphics in general look cartoonised. Could be possibly down to the colour palette used. I just don't like all the yellow tones in everything I was thinking about the proportions to. The back wheel looks massive. |

From the latest NAMCO release of MotoGP series, to the MotoGP07, and MotoGP08; There's no significant differences. What CAPCOM/Milestone did on MotoGP08 was to brake a leg and make a quick buck. I do not think they are or have a serious goal on make a pleasant and enjoyable game to keep the fans occupied until the next MotoGP season. When I read some posts in this or in other forums about the excellent job that MotoGP08 is; ... My brain goes confuse, people is this the one MotoGP08 that we're talking about?. If so, are these people blind, stupid, or just anxious to play for just the sake of it?, or are these people getting paid for a favourable comment and or reviews. Are those programmers acquainted with MotoGP Racing?, Do they watch MotoGP Championship on Sundays?, They do video tape the races and watch it over and over again, until they get the real passion for the sport?. I need to know that one. ( and I do not want to hear that you or they have one million hours riding bikes and all that crap ) With the super gem consoles of now days, the programmers should not have any excuse on making a detail game such as MotoGP, and I'm not referring only about graphics wise, I'm talking about handling, the specs of each bike, the style riding of every rider.. for example, Casey Stoner have a diff riding style as Tony Elias, and Valentino Rossi riding style don't looks like Colin Edwards ...etc, I'm talking also about when you crank the accelerator trigger feel the power, also the feed-back of the brakes and gears, the feel of the tarmac ..... Of course, CGI video game replays of the game looks spectacular, but I do not want to buy a video game just for watching video game replays. I would like to know.... did someone between CAPCOM and CLIMAX spelled bad blood?, if not why CAPCOM did not team up with them?

MotoGP 3 at it's very best (hate it or love it, this the way it is) This demonstrates what a fairly clean race is all about, NO wobbles, No power-slides, No muffler's back fires. What matters is the AI shows a very strong competition without the need to knock you out, AI defends the racing line very nicely, the rider positions are correct in every section of the race. Superb handling, braking power and acceleration are on time (The sensitivity is due of the Xbox Controller, with the PS3 controller is much more difficult to handle the sensitivity triggers; The triggers are too small and far down). Excellent physics, there were times I have rode over the grass (no cheat intention) and definitely slowed me down a great deal. Just like any one would make mistakes due the intensity of gameplay. In this video replay, I did play as a Valentino Rossi at Brno, race track... lots of fun !

SBK 2001 (PC)... Me as Colin Edwards at Laguna Seca Buried old stuffs in my forgotten boxes found this piece of jewel; SBK 2001 (PC) by Milestone, really I do not remember to have that much fun before when back then played it. It has been a couple of weeks now that I can not keep my hands off it. Also, found a new feeling with the PS3 controller, on PC games it won't Sixaxis though, but it give me a real good feeling controlling the game play. Question: Why is that with the newer games you do not have much fun anymore?, this old game has not even the smallest glitch, smooth gameplay, acceptable graphics, and the best part is the gameplay. I will list here some of the optional game setup.... ( for the guys who love SIMULATION Mode)

If I had to venture a guess, it would probably be that someone at Capcom (someone smart probabbly said "WTF is up with this ridiculous powersliding all over the place. These are supposed to be motorcycles ,not Jet skis" Thereby taking Climax or whatever they are called now out of the running BTW you're right SBK08 does suck, in so many ways i can't even begin to mention |

For what I see the leaning still has problems, it looks awkward, it looks cartooned, I was expecting realistic graphics. Is the person who's playing it that sucks or still the game sucks? Any Comments?
