Today I achieved a Platinum trophy in this horrible game! Thank God it's over!

This is my 4th platinum and by far the most unenjoyable. I actually posted a blog about how much I de-test this game, however, due to the fact so many people told me it was a hard platinum I forced my way through it. Almost regretably.

The hardest trophy was probably the Supreme Champion trophy only because it included Shang Tsung's kombo Challenge, which is just an awful was of time.

This game like almost every game features annoying achievements, such as, beat the game with every character, play 200 matches, and the like.

The worst experience of this game is the fact that even when you master all those crazy time specific combo's it really just doesn't make a damn because everyone on the internet just spams the same special moves over and over again.

Either way, I am truely glad this game is a distant memory, I traded it in toward Call of Duty: World at War, which so far has been a much much much better experience, Eff Midway, your game sucks!

So today I received the platinum trophy for UFC. Some of these platinums take forever, I swear.

This was actually a great game and I enjoyed it throughly, however, after playing it over and over again to get all these stupid trophies I will be trading it in, as they will probably release a 2010 version next May.

The hardest trophy to obtain is no doubt "Gold Digger," which I couldn't have done without the help of Cybersasquatch so thanks there.

The most annoying trophy is the "black belt," it's simply to get 100 wins but I had every other trophy with some 30 wins left needed and to just plug away at this trophy was just annoying.

All in all if you hadn't played it give it a shot, great game, especially with friends.

These retarded weekly updates to this terrible service piss me off. Every week when I get off work on Thursday I say let me check out this PSN, there are tons of old PSone games I'd love to have, yet we get critter crunchers or some crap and some retarded PSone game. Of the however many PSone games they have I may have only ever played 10 and of them only 4 or 5 are any good.

Seriously, companies like CAPCOM have said they have given Sony the ball and yet week in, week out Sony drops the ball. They should rename the section on PSN PSone crap games....not classics because most of them have never been played by a human hand.

Once again PSN you FAIL!

This game is horrible on so many levels. There are so many things to dislike about this game it will be hard to remember them all but let me start with the most frustrating part.

It is impossible to unlock the 2 secret characters. IMPOSSIBLE! I have beaten the MK story 3 times and everytime it says "Congradulations, you have unlocked Shao Kahn," however, not true upon reaching the character select screen and hitting R1 he is still locked, with a big lock on his face! The same is true of Darksied.

Also, when I beat both story modes, I got the trophies for each respectively, yet the gold trophy for beating both stories did not unlock. What kind of crap is this? So by my account that is 3 trophies I can't get because if I clearly cannot unlock the extra 2 characters I can not complete their Kombo challenges, which by the way is the only saving grace for this game.

The story mode and arcade mode are EXACTLY the same except for the fact that they force feed you videos that convey one of the worst told stories in the history of fighting games. On that note, fighting games shouldn't even have a story, they ALWAYS ALWAYS end up STUPID as hell!!

The final boss is absolutely horrible. The guy in charge of this character design should just be fired. Thank God he is not a playable character.

There is no survival or time attack mode. There are no unique mission modes. To my knowledge you can't even handicap fights. This game features nothing anyone who plays fighters can appreciate outside the Kombo challenge which is rather difficult.

Although it is a good mode it couldn't possibly get it right could it? There are no tutorial videos for the combo's so on a few combo's you are forced to the computer to youtube the combo someone else spent days on to figure out the timing. Another thing each character has 10 combo's so instead of just beating a few and then saving and going to work, you are forced to leave the ps3 on or forfeit your hard work as you cannot save.

The endings are awful as well. If you can even call then that, it isn't even a slideshow, it's one picture and some ass just talks. Terrible!

Anyway, I am done bitching about this game. Just wanted something to pass the time until tekken6 came out. F*** You Midway and Ed Boon!

Couple things I would like to see in the game:

New netcode

A real survival mode and time attack mode.

Rolento

Akuma's air fireball ultra

New trophies

Videos for combo's in the trail mode

A new mode like world tour from Alpha 3

Regardless, I will be purchasing this game ASAP! However, I would like another single player mode or two. I'm not much on learning a bunch of characters in fighters I tend to stick to just a couple. The new Juri looks pretty cool but if I could pick any returning character it would be Rolento, he was one of my favorites.

I am truely excited about this game!!! I kept checking back hear to see if there was any news on a SFA3 PSone release and today i found this news and I am still in AWE!
