Best swag of the year - The Capcom Resident Evil T-Shirt

Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 01:13 PM PST [General]

I collected so many freebie t-shirts over the years, that I don't get to wear most of them, which is a crying shame (I still have a Windows 95 shirt, brand new in wrap. I think it's probably even more a collectors item now...) Quite frankly, many t-shirts handed out by game companies, or tech companies, etc. are so generic and boring that I would never wear them. It just seems lazy with how most game publishers make gaming t-shirts that are so blah. Slap on a logo, and bam! That's swag?

Which is why I'm so in love with the Capcom Resident Evil T-shirt. The one where you pull it over your head and it has an image of a zombie face on the inside of the shirt. The concept is so brilliant, and it works that much better because of the whole zombie theme. This really is in the running for my best swag of the year so far.

Kudos to who ever came up with that idea! I hope more of the industry tries to do something innovative like this, rather than doing the same ol' blah T-shirt, or blah comic book, etc. etc.

Top 3 games from Capcom I'm looking forward to most

Sunday, September 27, 2009, 01:17 AM PST [General]

    Hey all,

Just thought I'd do my first post, to get the feel for this system. Since I'm here, I might as well say these are my top 3 Capcom games I'm looking forward to most!

    3. Tatsunoko vs Capcom

I'm hoping this gets renamed to Battle of the Planets vs Capcom, because Tatsunoko is simply just not most people have heard of in the US. But I use to love the old Battle of the Planets cartoons, and the thought of playing the characters in a fighting game sounds way too cool.

    2. Dead Rising 2

I already loved the first game, the fact that there's multiplayer in the sequel is making it a must buy. I'm hoping you guys add in a co-op mode to play through the whole game, and not just make it 4 player vs!

    1. Lost Planet 2

I admit, I didn' t play much of the first game. I blew through the demo, and while it was a beautiful game, it didn't really stand out for me. But this sequel looks amazing. And I will say the clincher of making it to the top of the "Most Wanted" chart for me is 4 player co-op.
