Fighting game beast what are your ingredients?

If I was out to make the perfect fighting game for me Id approach like Dr Frankenstein. My fighting game beast would consist of a little this a pinch of that my favorite flavors to make one ultimate game that offers just about every thing I like.Street fighter 4 Garou mark of wolves and Marvel super heroes to name a few and so the journey to build my beast began.I like how in Marvel Super Heroes in the beginning of a round before announcer says fight you are allowed a little movement of characters no dashing but this allows for some setup and pressure tactics. Also I love how rounds are interwoven so in the first round when your vitality gauge drops all the way you simply fall where you stand kneeling to the ground then you get up and the next round starts this makes matches flow faster Im kinda impatient. In the 2nd round/final round Id like to also see the incorporation of what I call light touch from SF3.

When I say light touch I mean when your last hit on the enemy is a light punch or kick/taunt that sends the enemy down in a dramatic way its O so satisfying to me.The option to parry would be nice as well and One more thing there should be a technique to cancel specials without having to use up your power meter something like you do the motions for a special and then press lp+lk which stops the action midway allowing you to use another special super or ultra right after Garou utilizes something like this. I think that would be nice just in case you want to save your power for more supers or EX specials instead of canceling. A simple counter system wouldnt hurt gameplay either like SFA3 forward HP+HK after block. They could make it cost a few bars on the super gauge or whatever but it a nice tactic that works really good in alpha.Couple this with a more refined custom combo option and whew!!

The focus attacks in SF4 work well to I like how you soak in a hit of damage but hit your opponent and regain health also you can stun your opponent with one strike you have to anticipate when your going to be attacked and press the corresponding buttons before the enemy hits you so that your focus attack will hit right after. When your knocked to the ground you should have a few options like other fighting games like a roll recover also I was playing Waku Waku 7 for Neo Geo and in that game when your opponent is knocked down and your close enough you can perform a pounce attack on them where you jump up and quickly drop on them but if they move out of the way it leaves you open to attack. If not something like that I think you should at least be able to deliver a strike or two to a downed opponent just a quick crouching LK or MK. The ability to do a quick sidestep would be alternative to blocking or jumping over fireballs as well as upping the anti in close quarter combat I saw this in CVS 2.

Marvel vs Capcom remake/download in favor of sequel heres why

Technically I like MVC2 for its simplicity in its 4 button control scheme and its character roster you have every regular character that has been featured in any vs game plus an array of new characters like Son Son and Amingo so It felt like a bargain especially if you couldnt hunt down all of the original vs games I just wish it had all the stages and bosses from those games not to mention separate story lines for each fighter instead of one uniform ending and 3D backgrounds.Low res sprites against 3d backdrops is not a very flattering look.

                Marvel vs Capcom

                 Marvel vs Capcom 2

The soundtrack of both games couldnt be more contrasting the MVC2 one is very jazzy with a number of horns and pianos it puts me in the mood to sleep not fight while the more up beat vibe of MVC re uses or remixes known chartacter themes or made entirely new ones that fit the fighters personality. Themes that stick out in my mind are Mega Man, Venom, Strider, and Captain Commando. There is a super cool new soundtrack available for MVC2 featuring the likes of  Reakwon of Wu-tang but thats separate from the game sadly.

That being said I prefer the first Marvel vs Capcom with its smaller cast and well drawn sprites and backgrounds felt more like a traditional Capcom fighting game while its brother while bigger felt like a cheap thrill which lacked all the charisma and charm of the first game. Now while doing an 100 hit combo with Iron man Cable and War Machine is cool I miss the DUO TEAM ATTACK from the first game having both characters on screen free to do infinite specials Oh and much fun was to be had especially if you had the superior Dreamcast version that offered CROSS OVER FEVER where you and three buddies could make 2 teams and go at it with the potential to put 4 characters onscreen at once for unspoken chaos. O you know what I forgot to mention something else balanced gameplay yeah and Ryu can transform into Akuma and Ken thats pretty cool.

So why did they make MVC2 a download instead of the first it probably comes down to its popularity for its broken unbalanced gameplay multiple god tier characters that is preferred for tournament play

That last one is a joke you guys dont really think Dans a god tier do you ha ha ha (many laughs later ) yeah he suxTongue out

I think a download for a graphically enhanced online version of the first game would be crazy!!!
