Ha, watching Street Fighter Alpha was funny with your brother, but watching it with friends here... AHHHH! ... priceless!!! XD We all were joking on it but still watching it. Most people i know would just tap out in the middle and leave, but we stood our ground. XD
A good way to meet unity members and just rock out. I mean right after the movie, i jumped to Left 4 Dead 2 (the demo) and I was narrating my deaths and how I was stabbed in the back... and we were just laughing! XD Then we jumped to SF2 HD Remix and just did work! :D
While 60-something peoples here voted for SF Alpha... why were there only 5 peoples watching it? :P

*I like-ee my Juri Gamerpic! Making my own custom stuffs is beast mode in itself! :D
Ahhh, Netflix Movie Night. Beast! XD
I've hit a serious wall in life!!!
I really try to keep personal stuff going on from mixing with online stuff, but I'm at a loss of words and I'm driving myself crazy! Sry for the language.
Damn... I mean Holy **** Damn!!! I hit quite a monumental wall for me... 2 1/2 years in college... will that be enough if I have to leave? I'm at a wall due to funds. I have to help out my mom pay off a loan, but I also need some more cash to continue my time in college. Looking for a part time job ain't a piece of cake either (no one likes me i guess.)
I'm trying to look at all of my options I have on the table as is and maybe some future ones if possible. Can I temporarily leave to get some cash flow going, then return? If I do leave, will 2 and a half years of college do me justice to do a bit of game design? Can I do something on my own? Hell, will the 2.5 years in college count in peoples eyes? So many questions plaguing me that I'm stupidly worried what to do!
My ultimate goal is to help in game design (characters is what I hope!) This is being my top! But, I'm chill with doing game related work as well (maybe like some of the stuff over at J!NX or a website for a game... well most game items as well.) But, will me not having a bachelors in Computer Graphics stop me from even touching any of these goals?
One thing's for sure, I will continue to master Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and the adobes! My CG professors taught me well and I will definitly continue to improve myself and learn new techniques, even if I don't have a professor. I started to use Photoshop on my own and I restored an old Black and White photo of my grandmother's and even recolored it for her. Just the start of my little adventure.
I'm just glad that I have a fallback for an emergency. I know how to diagnose and fix computers (BSODs, Diagnose Beep Codes;) and I know how to put together a High-End computer on the cheap and I know how to push a computer further than its intended limits. Another passion of mine that I'll learn on my own cause if you try to learn the computer from a book, chances are that the information in that book may be obsolete! You need to get down and dirty with that piece to grasp it!
Am I a fool? Am I doing all of this for nothing? I feel very confused and I don't know what to do!
Want someone's Capcom Fight Club Swag... a bit too late!
Well, I've got something for those who didn't get to go to the Fight Club. While it isn't my Ebay listing, someone might want to grab this before it goes out.

Just spreading the love. 1 day and change left. Check my pics or other blogs for the swag.
Well, looks like the auction is over. Hopefully someone out here was able to grab the goods, and looks like they paid a pretty penny for it. Nice!
Well, Will you do anything to win???
Ya, this has been bothering me for quite a while, meaning about 8+ months. While I haven't really posted anything on the blog, I do have to ask some questions for all to answer, with the top being this:
Will you do anything to win?
When I say anything, I mean anything!
My pops has a saying. "What's good for the goose is good for the gander." He will do anything to get the advantage in a game... with the latest actually rather disappointing. I don't mind him mimicing their playstyle to even up the field, but the fact that he had to buy a turbo modded controller? Damn... I don't like that one bit.
This is something that I believe in: "Respect your foes and you'll find victory!" I don't believe in doing everything to win a game. If you have confidence in your skills and you know your limits and boundaries, you can pull off a win. In shooter games, while I cannot run and gun, I can provide some cover, sniper fire, or transportation. I may not be MVP, but i'll assist as much as possible. In Fighters, I'm not one to keep someone in the corner or in the back unless they want to be there by choice. And in all games, I'm not one to attack those who aren't at their controls and I'm not gonna select a god tier weapon or character just to win. It's just something that I follow.
What about you guys out there. Would you do anything to win?
Fight Club! WHOO!!! and damn...
Damn, it's been over 24 hours and I'm still trippin' over the Fight Club! I need an outlet for this energy! (and let the record show that I'm choosing to main Juri, before any tier standings come into the picture! She looks bad-ass and looks like she might fight similar to Yun!)
(I'm not in any of these pics and I'm sry for the quality. All I have to work with is an LG Shine Cell Phone Camera... it sucks! XD)
Well after getting home, I had little time to ready myself. Good thing I prepared in advance. After swapping bags and running out the door, I got my train ticket and jumped on the 4:55 train to Penn. 50 minutes later at Penn, I booked right out the door and straight through the terminal onto 7th. 5:50- I just walked/ran down 7th all the way to Canal (you see some strange crap as you walk in NY!) 6:20, make it to the corner of Canal and Greene... to see some big line wrapping around the corner... Damn!
I was thinking of turning around and heading back home when I realized that I waited on lines longer than that... I still had a chance since the evening just rolled in, time was still on my side, plus I just walked about 3 miles... I'm getting mine!
Well after conversating with some dudes on line, I got bored a bit in the silence so I busted out my laptop to play Audiosurf... only to ragequit cause I hate to use my touchpad and it will never trump my mouse. So insted, at the request of some of the guys, i set up my laptop to run Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike. 2 dudes brought out their arcade sticks, we installed them and ran some quarter matches till 9 and change. We were jumping from stoop to stoop until we ran outta stoops to sit on! XD

(I recorded a good chunk of the fights, but that's another time!)
Well, I'm glad I stayed cause after killing some time like that we finally make it to the front of the line and into the fray!

Well to sum it up: got in at 9:50 and hopped onto Tatsunoko vs Capcom! I've already said I was gonna get this game on day 1, but now seriously! It's Day 1 or before launch if possible! Mega Man feels a bit different from when I first played him back in February, like he's faster in his launcher and some of his light attacks. His range in grabs also increased, plus I like how he has a different grab with each of his weapons. The light shield is very interesting to use now cause it can send foes flying at the wall if used on them (in air. I found that out by mistake, but it led to a Machine Gun Super set up so all didn't fail!)
I thought to myself how in the hell did 50 something people fit on the floor... and that wasn't there suppost to be more machines on tap??? Then i found the basement! XD

... Where was Super Street Fighter 4? I mean on the signs I saw Super Street Fighter 4 was to be on tap? I was way wrong since all the machines on the right side was running SF4 and on the left was TvC. However, we were all graced with a Demo of SSF4 ran by some of the Pro Players and Seth. I barely caught the 10 demo with Dee Jay and Juri (Too many elbows and backsides in the way.) I made sure to be in the front for the 11 demo, but I got pushed into a corner by the fan and stuck there... but I still got a good view! I did see Juri in action at 11... but I didn't get to get peoples gotta be a bit more courteous next time and stop ripping on my bookbag to get a good view (I took it off and asked the DJ if she can hold it, to let this one other guy get a better view since he didn't just yank on my bag... i'm not gonna be a jerk like that.)

(What? I'm tall, but not that tall. I did get videos of a load of matches and the 11 PM demo, but you guys have already seen it all from other gaming sites.)
Well, After the 11, I played some more TvC, but with Frank West. I like that he's a slow fighter, a brawler with his attacks, but it's a bit awkward to use him, especially against Zero! I like the zombie attacks he has in his arsenal and he has a load of set ups for the Mega Buster Special.
11:30 rolled and the club was dying down, so i decided to book before anything... but before I did go, Seth walked upstairs... and I had no idea who he was! (I knew of him, but I rarely saw his face before that night...) and he inked my Gamecube controller. Woot!

After that little meeting, I booked for the door, handed in my ticket and got a gift bag of some sweet swag! My 3rd and final mission was acomplished... get a Juri Shirt! :D

Epic stuffs! SF4 Headband, C. Viper Figure, Udon SF2 comic #3, TvC Towel, 2 CFC posters (well I walked out with 5 posters, 1 Juri poster and 2 TvC posters off the wall and the Juri and TvC poster with the bag.) the Juri Shirt, and the bag printed with the Juri face spraypainted (the other bag was CFC NYC spraypainted on.)
In short for those who took the TL;DR path:
Made it to the place at 6:20, threw down in SF3: 3rd till about 9, got in at 9:50, played TvC for 20 minutes, went downstairs, caught half the 10 PM demo, played some more TvC, caught the 11 demo, shouted on the Webcam to my peoples, met Seth, thanked the staff, then booked.
The WHOO!!!: Played TvC and took a mess of guys down!
The damn...: Wasn't able to get down and dirty with Juri!
As for the question I kept on hearing about (the 1 and the 2 by the Ultra Meter) i'm guessing that SSF4 is taking a page out of SF3: 3rd and now each fighter will be brining 2 or 3 Ultras to the fight. We'll be able to select pre-fight like in SF3.
Thank you again Capcom for putting this together! Here's hoping that next year the Fight Club comes back and I can go again! This is a great way to kill a Thursday night! :D
Overall: 95% of all tasks completed with some bonuses met!

(...! I found an outlet! I'm gonna work on a Juri Wallpaper and Vector! Yes!)
