I was gonna write up a piece on the awesomeness that was our booth at TGS08, but I have since returned to work and have been forced to mostly... work, instead of blog.  Boo. Fortunately, Kotaku's work is actually blogging, so I'll let you go look at their pictures instead. Or, if you like, you can check out the picture set I have from Tokyo. Eventually I'm going to get around to plugging some words into those pictures.

Your first glimpse of Kristen Kruek in familar Chun-Li garb comes courtesy of another one of my bad digital camera snaps from inside the Capcom booth. This poster teases you with Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li possiblities. Blue and yellow garb? Check! Blue eyes? Uh, check? Supposedly there was going to be a snippet of movie footage being shown, but I missed it.

Some day, you might find yourself in Tokyo. You may find yourself consumed by munchies the likes of which you have never felt before. You might be right next to a 7-11 and think, "I'll get something tasty in there." Whatever you do, please, for the love of sweet baby Jeebus, do not think about eating anything out of this bubbling cesspool of unidentifiable "food." You would be better off starving to death.

Every year, the race to sexify the TGS "campaign girls" (a term I like much better than "booth babes") increases, like some sorta horny arms race. Last year, Capcom won the official TGS award for best campaign girl costume design, and after seeing the legion of plucky young ladies circling the Capcom booth, relentlessly handing out goodies and posing for photos, I would not be suprised if we take it again. These two (and their handler/bouncer) were working the entrance to the Monster Hunter Tri area, handing out nice little Monster Hunter bags to everyone who waited most of the day to play the game. I wonder where they house these girls after the show? There must be some kind of Hotness Hangar around Tokyo where these girls update their Mixie pages and work on their abs all day.
