I decided to main Chun-Li in SF4.. and while I've been playing I started thinking..  Isn't her jump incredibly short?  At first I thought maybe I was imagining things but I went back and played some of the other Street Fighter games and noticed her jump was pretty long in earlier games.  Just to confirm my suspicions, I decided to record footage from each version and compare the distances.

Note: I had to scale the frame for SF4 in order to directly compare... but it still proves my point proportionally.

As you can see she jumps basically the same distance in every game EXCEPT SF4.

Using Ryu as a registration point.. let's compare SF2 Chun's jump to SF4's.

That concludes the jump research.
