Okay Capcom just traemark Okamiden since Okami for Wii didn't Japan jet and it's coming Oct  15th it might have something to do with that or a sequel since den means gaidene aka side story or Densetsu so anyway here are the links

Ok here's some more info that might lead to an Okami sequel since it loks like on the next issue of Famitsu the will reveal Okamiden anyway till the issue comes out or when TGS comes around I still file this under rumor for now

Well, you do have the Celestial Brush, so making an Okami game for the DS is kinda a no-brainer. I suppose that you would have to press and hold a shoulder button to bring up the canvas screen. That would also make it more convenient for left-handed gamers (you press R and then draw with your left hand, or you press L and draw with your right hand).


One question though, how are they going to cramp a game of equal value or better into a DS cartridge ? That's gonna be hard, BUT if it's to remove those annoying sound effects they've used as "voices", I got no problems with that.

I have faith in Capcom it wo't be like on the PS2/Wii but good none the less look at Legend of Zelda phantom hourglass or Dragon Quest IX both of those games are sequels on a DS and the scans look really good but I'll wait till TGS to see in action or a trailer .

Same here. As long as this version feels similar to playing on a dualshock controller, it sure will be satisfying.
