Hey and Welcome been a little while since I made a new Blog Entery...well here is of many to come!

Basicly this is about my Blu Ray Drive on my Laptop

Acer Aspire 8920G

What amazing about this Laptop is that it has a Blu Ra drive whats more amazing is that you cant change the Region from the Blu Ray from Region A to B.

{See no options for Blu Ray just DVD (which is easy to bypass anyway}

Why is this amazing well Ill tell you.

Basiclay this laptop maybe like many other PC's and such has a software built for it by Cyberlink.

And everytime one formates there system the defult settings are in place for the Blu Ray... which is Region A (North America and Japan).

Now one wojuld go mm I have to change it. And yes you would. on the setting of the media centers application which in this case is called.

But now when one goes to this setting one finds something strange.

You have 5 chances to do this..

But here is the flaw like ive said.. If you format it ..it resets so you have to change it all the time.. right.

Yes thats right BUT you do not loss your 5 chances.. if you have formated!

How awsome is that!

LOL Lke I care about 5 times..

So if you one of those that has these puppies hell dont stress about the region thing on a Blu Ray Drive...if outside america that is.

Stuff like AnyDVD HD and such may work to bypass the System for you to play other regions mainly for DVD's but on Blu Ray there are protection codes that prevents you from doing so..
