The second hunting event went down this Friday that just passed. I was there along with some of the lower rank hunters. We had 3 new hunters show up, Barney,TJ and Kaiser. Out of the 3 Barney was the only Hr 9. That meant no weapon completion for me . For most of the night I helped Oniryu and TJ get their urgent,which was Akantor (pretty lame fight if you ask me). We killed one but the two greenhorns couldn’t hack the second one so we ended up failing it.
No cake this time ;( but it’s good that more hunters are randomly showing up. Even though my crew is mainly done with the game and they’re just collecting armors and weapons at this point, we still welcome new players to come along and ride on the fantastic voyage.
I’ll be out of the country for two weeks so when I come back there will be an MH night.
In case you weren’t there, which a good amount of you weren’t (shame on you), we had our very first monster hunter meet up. We had 12 hunters and we filled up 3 guild halls as well as the basement of PnT.

So what did we end up doing? Well the higher levels worked with some of the lowbies to clear quests and give pointers about fighting things. The youngin’s in my clan helped me kill stuff because of my old age and old weapons(G rank in previous game rare-8 and 7 in some cases) I refuse to solo most of this game. We started around 6 and finished playing around 10:30 ish.
Alright here's how it's going down, there are a few store in the Play N Trade franchise that have a bit of a friendly rivalry. So how do you settle such a thing? With nothing but fighting of course. So we've decided to put together an online tournament. This will be a two day (September 12-13th,9/12-9/13) tournament. With the local(in store) round being held on a Saturday the top two advance to Sunday which is the big dance. The reason why we will do the online hosting in the store is because that way no one can play with the standby button or any other sort of lag tomfoolery. The only line matches will be played regionally then nationally. So If you're looking to play some west coast people in the first round you're going to be sad.
The list of stores right now is at 16 so if you want your store to participate I would urge you to call them and tell them. We will be taking the top 2 from each store for a final 32 man bracket on Sunday. This number can grow if more stores join on. Check back here for updates. Check out www.clgamer.com
The brackets will be made the Sept 12th and sent to all the stores that same day so they can run their matches.

Hey everyone, thanks to Play N Trade NYC, they decided to let us use their venue to keep the SF4 community alive in NYC. So in order to keep it more alive and make it grow, for the next 6 months there will be a series of ranbat. We would like to have 2 ranbats per month and this will depend on dates due to heavy tournaments that are being hosted throughout the year. And the top 8 people with the most "Chocolate Lemon" points will go into a final 8 play off to win the overall Play N Trade prize which is to be determined. It will be a good prize.
But the top 3 winners of each ranbat will be getting cash based off the amount of entries in the tournament!!!

So why should the Brits have all the fun. I’ve partnered up with a local gaming store PNT to host some Monster Huntin.
The rules are pretty much simple show up. There’s a 5 dollar venue fee , If you want to put in for food that will be ordered that’ll be another 5.If you don’t want grub that’s cool you’d only pay 5. It starts at 6 and goes till the store closes and kicks us out. I’m going to try to have these twice a month at least and on a Friday. If Fridays don’t work out we’ll always move this to another day. So come on out and hunt make new friends and hunt monsters. I’ll see you there. Make sure you check our calendar to see what’s going on!
