If Birdman can go from superhero to lawyer, why not the other way around?
THIS IS ABOUT TATSUNOKO VS CAPCOM and Phoenix Wright of course!

This interview with Ryota Niitsuma has become popular fast, with its mention of two things majorly driving the masses; a mention of Nintendo vs Capcom and a note about Phoenix Wright being scrapped as a possibility for TvC.
I'd love to see Nintendo vs. Capcom as much as anyone, but this was just an interview and rather than giving the boring answer of 'it isn't happening', Niitsuma spiced it up a bit, which is pretty cool.
Unfortunately, it probably means he was spouting hot air for the question about Phoenix Wright as well. Rather than say he was never planned, or that he really didn't seem like a fighter, Ryota Niitsuma explains a dilemma with the OBJECTION! attack, the only attack they could come up with. Of course, tons of people reading the article have come up with solutions to such a weird problem.
Furthermore, the idea of a localization issue halting a character from getting in just seems like a lie, considering TvC wasn't headed for the States at first. What's surprised me most though is the feedback. I love Phoenix Wright, and most people I know who have heard of the series love it, so I guess it shouldn't be too weird to me that it's one of the top stories currently.
Still, who would have guessed so many people wanted a lawyer in their fighting game?

I heard about this. I hope they include him. I don't think the translation thing is a lie. I think they came up with the idea & considered "What if?"
TwiGGyHopefully he makes it in though. :D
