Fireman is the best robot master. He dual wields flamethrowers, which don't really act like flamethrowers in his first appearance I guess. In fact, he's technically the first robot master who has a shield weapon, but it shield WHILE shooting out flames. Very powerful and useful, if you can pry it from him that is.
As seen above, Fireman's blasters in the cartoon do shoot fire out like a flamethrower though. And so does the EXE version of him. In fact, his EXE version is really, really cool looking. I don't remember much of what he does in the original cartoon, but he was a mean dude in MegaMan Battle Network.
Fireman, like his original 6 robot master buddies, shows up in quite a few other MegaMan titles, like MegaMan Soccer. Unfortunately, he doesn't get used nearly as much as Gutsman and Cutman do though. Burn bright, Fireman.
Iceman is the best robot master. He shoots ice shards and wears a parka. He shoots pretty slow, letting MegaMan get a feel for how to fight him and generally being an overall nice robot master to fight.
In the cartoon Iceman is not like this at all. He has a whole episode about Dr. Light tricking him into thinking Dr. Wily prefers Airman over him, and thus make a robot army to take him on in rebellion. Even after learning the error of his ways, Iceman is never seen in any episode afterwards, just because he was such a jerk
In MegaMan Powered Up, IceMan has a dual personality complex of being both a tough general and a scared soldier. Hooboy. Stay cool Iceman.
Elecman is the best robot master. His wide attack punishes the Yellow Devil, but you have to pry it from his cold dead hands first. It isn't easy, and without the Rolling Cutter, 8/10 you end up fried MegaMan.
Elecman shows up in a few episodes in the cartoon, including the opening where Roll sucks up his electricity in a vacuum cleaner. Golly!
In MegaMan Battle Network, Elecman's navi counterpart has a big makeover from his original look, but not half bad music. Not to say his original music isn't rocking, in fact, it's the bomb!
Cutman is the best robot master. He has scissors on his head and his stage had a hot tune. Just like in rock-paper-scissors, he gets crushed by rocks, thanks to Gutsman's toughie arm. In the cartoon, Cutman and Gutsman wreak havoc together, a perfect duo of strength and snips. His raspy voice and fabulous laugh make him a fan favorite.
Cutman has appeared in MegaMan 8, MegaMan X8, and the arcade games. Who knows where he'll end up next.
Gutsman is the best robot master. He's strong and tosses cubes at you, and if you somehow manage to blast him away, he gives you a pretty useless weapon. But I guess you use it to get the magnet thingy from ElecMan's stage so it's ok.
In the cartoon Gutsman and Cutman are a hilarious comedy duo, and always put up the best fights with MegaMan. He's been in most episodes, maybe even all of them. I dunno!
Gutsman shows up in MegaMan 2 as a huge tank, in 7 with a weird claw, in the racing game, in the arcade games...he's a big hit with the crowds. Go GutsMan!
