It's been awhile since I made a BLOG post here so I will update some Capcom-related stuff about my life!
I'm currently helping make 2 Mega Man fangames, which is always EXCITING. Anyone who makes fangames knows how ambitious it is when you start, and how easily you can lose steam and be overcome with burdens like school, work, or life in general which impede that sweet goal of finishing a totally rad game with your favorite characters!
After years of doing this, I'd like to think I've become more aware of what I'm getting into each time but I'm either falling into the same or quite similar trappings. Still, I do take pride in the projects I actually finish. Of those two games, one is ssssecret and the other is a puzzle game. Made because I believe Mega Man should dominate all genres of gaming, so why not the realm of puzzle titles? Hopefully you'll see a demo of this title soon and you'll let me know what you think (pretty please!).
Let's end on a sad note. Oh Mega Man Powered Up, you were so great...why did people not buy you in droves and spawn a thousand sequelsssss...
My good friend CutMan (yes, THE CutMan!) said to make a video for all the drawings with music. I unfortunately did a bad job with the transitions but, um, enjoy!
This game is amazing! I love the story, the muzak, the new noise-styles.... so great!!
Starforce really is showing itself as a shining series with this sequel. I wish the reviewers would see that instead of just treating it as another Mega Man game with a different number (as they have for decades).
I was happy to hear Video Games Live was goign to be adding Mega Man music to their lineup, and very happy to hear it would premiere June 4th. I unfortunately could not go, but thankfully, youtube user dperschonok uploaded a video of the Mega Man segment. Thanks man!
