I have collected 4 very nice sticks and here is what I think are the best parts:

joystick-Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT (best stick out there IMO,very strudy,sensitive,but not too sensitive,nice color selection)

buttons-Sanwa OBSF-30( strudy,sensitive,comes in several colors to choose from)

Oak wood case-sturdy,yet looks nice not too heavy

I have used those type of parts for a long time. Oak is good,I can't stand metal or plastic cases unless it has a good base to it.

going to try to make one that has both ps3/xbox connections on it. I won't use any other parts except for Sanwa parts it in,those have never broke down on me :)
