2 small things to make Resident Evil Degeneration more playable

    Friday, June 12, 2009, 08:50 AM [General]

Some people have complained about the fact that you can not shoot and move at the same time in Resident Evil but it does serve a purpose - it slows down the pace and heightens the tension.

However in Resident Evil Degeneration there are a few things that slow down the pace without adding anything to the game play.

For example if you want to pick up an item you have to go to a special menu and answer the question - Do you really want to pick up this item? In most game when you are close to an item and you hit your action button it will picked up automatically.

Second, if you want to change your weapon, you have to pause, scroll to the items menu, scroll to the weapon you want, click on it, scroll to equip and click restart. Did you get tired reading all of that? Try doing that 10 times and see how tired you get...

    Conspiracy theory alert!

    Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 02:13 AM [General]

Recently I heard a conspiracy theory that some developers intentionally create A.I. to irritate you so much that you HAVE to play with a co-op partner.  (Forcing another person to also buy the game, and both of you have pay for Xbox LIVE).

The example they used was Sheva in R.E. 5. She is suicidal and you have to really baby-sit her through the game to keep her from dying.

Searching online I could not find anyone else that agreed with the theory; however a lot of folks did mention that Sheva can be a handful at times.

I will file this theory under Roswell.
