Here are the details for the Monster Hunter competition held at www.livestream.com/thegatheringhall :
READ THIS LIST !!!
2v2 Competition
-You MUST have X-link Kai, Ad-hoc Party, or a seperate person who can connect with ad-hoc to you.
-You MUST have a way to either stream your psp screen or record it. You can either stream by getting an account on www.livestream.com and be directed to a designated channel, or you can use a screen capture program such as FRAPS or HyperCam etc. to record your psp screen through RemoteJoy if you have it. You can also just use a video camera if you don't mind the quality, but we must make sure you did the whole quest, your time, and to make sure you are not cheating. For streaming or screen capturing you will need RemoteJoy.
-Be ready to comply with restrictions on weapons/armor. They will be different restrictions for each competition so make sure you have plenty of weapons and armor that cover the whole spectrum of damage and defense. This goes for items as well. We usually will not restrict an item unless we want to put a challenge on the quest(i.e. no potions, no traps, etc.)
-This competition will have 2 teams of 2 engage a certain quest(disclosed at the time of the competition) and finish it in the fastest time that they can. The fastest time will be declared the winner. You are disqualified if you are cheating or you fail the mission.
-This is a seperate bracket from the 1v1 competition. Each player signed up for this part will be put against other 2v2 competitors.
-If you do not have a specified partner, we will try to put you with someone else who is your skill level.
1v1 competition(I've added this part due to the large number of people that aren't online capable.)
-You do not need x-link or adhoc party.
-This competition will have 1 person against another person doing a certain quest. The same rules apply for the 2v2 competition.
-This is a seperate bracket from the 2v2 competition. Each player signed up for this part will be put against other 1v1 competitors. If you want to join both you MUST specify that you want to do so.

Cool. I was thinking about importing it early on but put it off for some reason or another & then Capcom announced a US release so now I'm waiting. I'm so excited for it.
