I'm completely frustrated! After spending a whole day just to get this game activated and get it installed, NOW it won't load! I have a brand new Alienware system, I used the default install, and when I try to run the game, all I get is a black screen for a short time before it jumps back out of the game. I have never had this much trouble trying to get a game to run!!! I need help and am dying to play this thing.

Between just trying to get this installed, unlocked and up and running, this has been a frustrating experience. Anyone please help. My email is: einoberst1@sbcglobal.net. Thanks!

The game has launched, and frankly it's not bad. That being said, I was disappointed that the game lacked the depth that's in SBK-08. Moreover, Milestone tried to recreate all the riders riding form, and it was a swing and a miss.



Since I started with the petty stuff lets just get it out of the way. The first and most disappointing aspect of the game was that THE MOST IMPORTANT RIDER: Valentino Rossi is wearing the gear he used during testing and not the new gear for 2008 in the XBOX 360 version! I know that milestone did add it to the PS2 version, but the PS2 version is just an amped up version of the 2007 season, and not very well done.



I don't know whether you (Capcom) are paying to just use the SBK engine, or if Milestone is taking your money and using it to make a good game (SBK-08)and giving you the left over, but you guys should keep in mind that you own the license to one of the greatest racing series on earth. Remember that you get back what you put into it. In other words, if you are losing money on Motogp it's because your company is half assing the game.



Look at Gran Turismo, before the game was released no one gave a rats ass about video game racing, detail etc... After it came out, especially GT3 on PS2 it seemed like the whole world had gone "tuner". Furthermore, Polyphony Digital, if you research, has also set the bar for motorcycle racing games with Tourist Trophy! With the capability that the XBOX 360 and PS3 have Milestone should be producing a game that blows Polyphony’s version out of the water. Sadly this is not the case.



Again, you get back what you put into the game. For example, the Wii's success is based on its ability to find an audience with a large demographic that is not considered to be "hardcore gamers". Motogp can do the same without compromising game play or graphics. I point to polyphony Digital’s efforts in the GT serious. They managed to reach gear-heads, tuner, and people that just love cars by making it visually stunning, and gmae play deep but simple.



The world will be stunned and amazed again by the depth of detial (pit box crews and tire changes) and visual beauty that GT5 will produce, as soon as it is released.



The most exciting things about Motogp is the atomopher, the compition, and the to date no one has mangaed to capture even a bit of this. So if you guys don't want to put in this much effort, at least make the game pretty and fun. That is, if you want to make the game feel and look cheap, go all the way with it!



If it's going to be cartoony, then it should be cartoony all the way. The point, I guess, is if you're going to go one way with it, go all the way with it!



Finally, Motogp 08 has been a slight improvement over the past incarnations, but as far as the XBOX 360 version is concerned, it has only managed to equal Motogp 07 of THQ. You guys need to stop thinking short term returns and invest the money and time into a game that will, if properly produced, become the Gran Turismo of motorcycles, and make back the money and them some of the initial investment
