New Super Street Fighter IV Art and... A New Challenger?

Our Japanese SFIV website and blog have been update-ified. The website has some more new portraits of El Fuerte, Rufus, and Dan in the new SSFIV pencil-style. Check out the high-res files here.

The blog has a few notes about the Japanese National tournament (translation courtesy of Shoryuken.com's Azrael), but the real fun is the cropped screenshot of Chun-Li catching some ink-splatter from... who?

Omg! Omg! I just noticed the billboard on the car bonus stage! I can see Mike Haggar on that billboard!

Thank you for giving this dude some props! Any chance he'll be in game? I'm just so happy he hasn't been forgotten!!!!

For sure. I'm still debating on whether or not I should receive the sword though.

Seeing as how I only entered the contest for fun and to have a little rivalry filled contest with a friend of mine. It just bothers me a little that there were people so quick to anger. I mean, if it makes them feel better, I could totally say to give the sword to another. It's not that much of a problem.

Hell, I can even relinquish my place if it makes people feel better. I just don't want people to see me as this person who takes advantage of others for free stuff. Because it is true, I only JUST joined the site a few days ago. But, a lot of people are taking it the wrong way, even though I did want to join the site strictly for what Capcom is to me. Not what I can get from them.

GAH. Sorry. I ranted. xD

The car bonus stage is the Gas Station and Car from Final Fight!!!!!!! Every character and a Gas station but no Mike Haggar! Lol, I've been going thru this same stuff for like 19 years.

I was soooo close with Alpha 3! Alpha 2/3 bg appearance!
