We’re happy to announce that Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on PlayStation3 will be offering a free multiplayer online demo later TODAY, February 7, 2008. That’s today, as in… today. The demo features the Pirate Fortress and will have both Elimination (aka “deathmatch”) and Team Elimination game modes. For reasons known only to top Capcom scientists, the free demo supports only 8 players, but don’t worry—the full game will still let you revel in the glory of 16 slot multiplayer. The full PS3 version of the game includes the PS3 exclusive new unlockable character Luka, all the added characters from the PC version of the game (Frank West, Joe, and Mega Man), all four game modes, and every Lost Planet map ever made. This definitive Lost Planet: Extreme Condition PS3 package goes on sale at retail starting February 26th. Update: It's now live and available for download in the PSN Store!
