Great Interview with Bionic Commando Creative Director

Monday, August 25, 2008, 12:42 PM [Bionic Commando]

Gamesetwatch has a great interview with BC creative director Simon Viklund.  He discusses the game's origins, the philosophy behind the gameplay choices, mechanics, and music!

And let us not forget Simon's amazing work on the Bionic Commando: Rearmed soundtrack!  If you haven't heard it, you really need to

Kotaku's Owen Good, who just picked it up from iTunes (it's also available DRM-free from sumthindigital), says:

"It's a hell of a good soundtrack. If you took everything that was awesome about 1988, brought it 20 years forward to the future to 2008 and kept only the best parts of both, the CD would be Bionic Commando: Rearmed."

Sample it and I think you'll agree!  I would recommend it some more except I am trying to get some of these irritatingly catchy songs OUT of my head right now...

Man, the screens and videos online do no justice for how beautiful this game truly is. I've seen and played it at Captivate 08. Only, it was on a PC with a 360 controller, but I'm sure it'll still look the same. Capcom's really been push'n it with the graphics each and every new game they release.

Snow can tell you, that's practically all he did in Vegas was play the next-gen version. He even spent a lot of time just swinging around in the green house (a practice area).
