Over at MTV's Multiplayer blog, the intrepid Patrick Klepek is playing straight through "the entire Mega Man series" and sharing his thoughts on the delicious highs and devastating challenges of these OG masterpieces. Funfact: I actually had to perform this same feat during my job interview--in front of Inafune-san!

While for his sake I hope he's just playing MM1-8, and not all 100+ Mega Man games, it's a great introduction to the allure and straight up challenge presented by retro games in a next-gen, hyper-shaded world.
