1UP: Will we ever be lucky enough to get a Mega Man X9 -- but with Super NES era graphics and music?

I love the retro games that have come out as of late, BC:R being my favorite.

In respose to what you posted there.

I cast my vote to have a Megaman X9 game that looks like Megaman X4, X5, and X6.
Thats how I want it to look like.

Nice read. Interesting that they actually considered making a nes port. Lol I would buy but that's obviously a bit pricey to make since they made it for consoles 4 generations ahead.

If they do make a new X game. I want a mix of X1, and X6 graphics style and with gameplay that mimics X1 moreso. X1 had the changing stages that were different depending on order played and this should be advanced further. I read a blog today about how x6 was supposed to have a random stage design that came depending on skill of the player. I played all the x games and X1 is still my favorite. I still like the way they changed the graphics over the ps1 X games and added a lot more special effects and environment effects. I wouldn't mind them bringing that back too. I can live without it being HD as long as the art style remains the same. That is what changed a lot throughout the series and the bosses started looking completely out of place compared to the old X games. The passion is definitely out there and the old fans who stopped liking it will like it again if it returns too it's rock solid roots.
