Jab Strong Fierce, the Street Fighter Tribute from Noe V. on Vimeo.
On Saturday, April 25th, the Jab Strong Fierce Street Fighter IV art exhibition went down at LA's Nucleus Gallery. The event was a ton of fun, and was wall-to-wall PACKED with SF fans, cosplayers, Unity members, tournament pros, and of course some amazing Street Fighter art.
Unity's own BigMex was on the spot and provided this great video recap of the event. The back half of the video has the tournament semi-finals and finals, including lots of fun screaming from the crowd.
I didn't get to compete in the tournament, but I was able to win the synchronized pointing exhibition.
The tournament was not only attended by some of the best SFIV players in the country, it was also full of exciting finishes that kept the crowd shouting and gasping right through to the end.
Street Fighter veteran Mike Watson was able to make a huge splash in his very first SFIV tournament by taking down some of the country's best players to make it to the grand finals, where he faced off against Kai's killer El Fuerte. Watch the video to see the action for yourself, or check the pic of Kai with our favorite El Fuerte cosplayer for a hint at the outcome.
Great SFIV matches, great people, and great art made for another special night. Thanks to everyone who came out and made this event another epic fansplosion.

It sounds like everyone had a good time at the event.
