MVC2 Showdown: Captain Commando vs Cable

More weekdays mean more Marvel Vs Capcom showdowns at Marvel.com . This time out it's Captain Commando (aka CAPtain COMmando--see what we did there? According to our marketing department, this is amazingly clever).

Time-traveling mutant with an eye-infection vs Mr. Capcom himself. Vote Commando! If his "former mascot" status isn't enough, you please remember that Captain Commando was the one to bring us one of my all-time favorites: Baby Head!

One of the best anti-airs in the game vs Broke Nasty Cable? AHVB x N = DIE. Sums it up pretty nicely. But Captain Commando did tell me Vulgus came out in 1984. So he is doing his part for the community.

I had to go with Cable on this one not huge fan of Cable but at least I know some of his back story so yeah lees of a fan of Captian Comando shesh that 3 strikes Capcom

Ah, yes, I have fond memories of pile driving people with Baby Head and slicing them in half with Ginzu. Captain Commando would be a sweet game to see remade.

As for the vote, Captain Commando is a pretty strong character in the right hands while Cable is downright cheap. Honestly, though, Cable is probably my favorite character to use in beating up an opponent after I win a fight. People get pretty pissed when you Viper Beam them off the ground to rub it in their face. If anything contended with that, it would be Jin's towel taunt.
