Of course it deals with Flock! specifically, but it's full of nice insights into game development overall, ranging over topics from concept, execution, and accessibility, to the power of leaving things to the imagination. Check it out here.
**They do not discuss the extremely cute toys of the Flock! press kit, but you should consider doing so anyway...
It's a new video from Hieroglyphics to accompany the track "Battle Drum" from the infamously great Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Mixtape. Beats, beatdowns, even a flashkick, and a cameo from Capcom's own John Diamonon (at 1:36)!
Just when I think to myself "gee, I already own close to 40 joysticks--maybe I can quit now...," something like this comes along. The rumors were true, and the fabled Marvel Vs Capcom 2 stick has arrived.
I was playing one of these bad boys at the GameStop managers show, and of course it features all the top-of-the-line components and construction you've come to expect from the Tournament Edition line, plus fresh new art, an extra-tough black case, and deliciously yellow buttons and stick!
MVC2 was the game you demanded, and this is a stick worthy of the game. Pick up yours today--I'm guessing these are also going to be gone pretty quick.

Servants? Masters? A weapons-based Capcom fighter? The Holy Grail?! Yep, it's Fate Unlimited/Codes, which is out today for your PSP. Where is it, you ask? Exclusively at the PSP PlayStation Store.
In honor of the release, we've got a smorgasbord of Fate goodness, including new screens, a pretty gallery of movelists, and of course the brutal combo video above. They all feature Assassin, Caster (my favorite), Luviagelita, and the hated Zero Lancer.
And just in case, here are a few more overview details:
Based on the hit Japanese manga and anime series, Fate/unlimited codes takes place in Japan, where seven pairs of magical combatants compete for the ‘Holy Grail’ that will grant them any wish.
This compelling combat experience for the PSP system features a deep roster of characters and unique fighting moves, while employing a fast-paced, weapons-based fighting system that is sure to meet any Capcom fans highest expectations.
The original arcade version has been updated for the PSP system, with move inputs optimized for the PSP's d-pad.
For those feeling confident enough to take on human competition, Fate/unlimited codes supports local network play on the PSP system, allowing two players to duke it out wirelessly. Additionally, the game has dozens of unlockable secrets, including alternate costumes, missions and mini-games. Fate/unlimited codes has been developed by Cavia in association with Eighting, the development team that brought you Tatsunoko vs. Capcom™ and Bloody Roar.
One of the greatest MVC2 technicians and scientists of all time is a reclusive Japanese player known as "Joo." He has been stunning the MVC2-loving world for years with absolutely amazing combos that not only change the way the game is played by the pros, they also demonstrate the amazing flexibilty of the engine behind all the on-screen action.
Although he made a rare appearance at EVO 2009, Joo has gone strangely quiet on the video release front over the last few years. Could one of the game's all-time greatest fans have lost interest?
Never! In fact, Joo has been in his darkest laboratory, cooking up his ultimate masterpiece. How long has he been working on this? For the last *5* years.
I'm told by his friend and US counterpart Magnetro (who has been in our offices this week doing some additional gameplay tests for MVC2) that the long wait is soon over, and the ultimate MVC2 video will actually be finished next month.
In the meantime, enjoy the trailer above (it's 4 minutes long and still just a trailer!), and be sure to check out a few of Magnetro's annotations about just WTF is happening here.
