From Unity member xXLostInPlaceXx comes this handy tutorial video for people new to the Lost Planet experience. 

You get a good look at all the options in the demo, how to make the most of the unique aspects of Lost Planet 2, and of course how best to use the weapons and grenades.  The basic focus here is probably best for multiplayer, but the rundown is useful for single-player as well, so check it out, and do not forget to roll!

We've got some pretty impressive new shots of Lost Planet 2 which you'll only find right here (well, unless someone else c+ps them, which I guess is totally fine, now that I think about it).

Our very own Shawn, aka Snow, drifted onto G4's X-Play to talk Lost Planet 2's coop, split-screen, giant robots (that can do Voltron-style tricks!), even giant-er bugs, and more. 

Btw, if you're wondering what's sticking out from under Shawn's shirt, that's a sheath for his knife.  He calls the knife "Daisy" and he carries it with him everywhere, Crocodile Dundee-style.  Ask him about it at the Lost Planet launch party tomorrow in LA!

Last week Destructoid stopped by Capcom HQ and got a camera-ful of our own Snow talking Lost Planet 2 multiplayer.  He goes over the taste of character customization in multiplayer beta--you can see some customized looks as well as a bunch of different possible "loadouts." 

He also talks about the Vital Suits, which are, in fact, rad.  Other shooters have jeeps?  We've got giant transforming robots, so... we win.  He also touches on a few of the "direct from the community" touches that made it into the final game.  Check it out. 

Lost Planet 2 and Takeuchi-san have been touring "the continent" to show off the new, D-Day-esque beach landing battle, character customization madness, and coop, coop, coop!
