Check out these shots of Jazwares forthcoming Mega Man Urban Vinyl collection, which got a little shoutout in the most recent ToyFare magazine. Called "JUVIs" (Jazwares Urban Vinyl), they should be out before this year's Comic-Con.
First up will be Mega Man, Elec Man, and Proto Man, with more to come if those succeed!
Our old buddy Jin Saotome is back with some cool Protoman and Mega Man mods to G.I. Joe figures.
As with all his modded 'Joes, he adds a little story to try and explain the always-inexplicable crossover goodness:
"With the experimental temporal aperture a stable gateway between realities, more beings began coming through. This fellow was designated as a prototype of Rock and was dubbed 'Protoman' by the team. He exhibits the same bizarre ability to create functional weapons and even an impenetrable shield from his limbs. Quiet but cocky in battle, Protoman is a valuable ally when paired with Rock. Something worries the Joes however. If these are the warriors of good in their world...what were they fighting against?"
Nobody is more excited about personal fitness than a robot who spends his life jumping over really dangerous spikey pits, razor sharp boomerangs, etc., so if you were about to think this is extremely weird, don't.
It's been a rough year for print media, and I was sad to hear that Anime Insider has followed suit, with the April issue being their last.
They went out on a game-centric note, and the issue is full of Capcom goodness, from it's Mega Man StarForce 3 cover to a full spread on Capcom's anime-damaged past and future, so be sure to check it out at a newstand near you.
