Proceed with Caution: It's a Baffling new Street Fighter Cartoon Mashup

Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 04:20 PM [Street Fighter]

Some people paint, some knit, and some remix old USA Network cartoons for the lulz.  Yes, TheSwitcher is back with another mind-bending mashup of the Street Fighter USA Network cartoons.

He whipped this one up special for our recent NYC Capcom Fight Club, but now we're sharing it with the rest of the world.  It includes Some truly creepy portraits of Ryu and Ken, Blanka creating peace in the Middle East, T. Hawk exploding an (evil) computer console with his face, Dhalsim making fun of physics, and of course the obligatory "Bisonnnnnnnnnnn!"

Visit The Switcher's Retarded Cartoon Flophouse for more of his shenanigans.

Incredible Fan-Made 3D Street Fighter Models

Tuesday, October 27, 2009, 06:12 PM [Street Fighter]

Game artist Mike Kime is back with his newly finished M. Bison, aka Vega, aka "The Dictator."  Truly incredible work!

And while I've seen his amazing Guile before, if it's new to you, be sure to check that one out too (and head here to see other amazing entries to the contest that inspired all the great work in the first place).

Thanks to Matoto Man for the heads-up.

Super SFIV Blog Backs up a Dumptruck of Fun on your Face!

Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 01:02 PM [Street Fighter]

The most recent entry in Japan's new Super Street Fighter 4 blog brings a truckload of goodness, featuring 100% less coy Shiozawa hijinks and tons of great discussion from the devs about almost every aspect of the game, from the look, to the character balance, character models, computer difficulty, sequels, and more.

The fine folk at Eventhubs have kindly posted the whole translation, complete with included pictures.  Head here to read the whole thing--one of the juiciest pieces of direct-from-Japan info the blog has ever seen, and a great look into the minds of the people that really went the extra mile on SFIV.

Translation courtesy of Jigsaw, and thanks to George for the full post.

    Yahoo Predicts a Chun-Li-tastic Halloween

Friday, October 9, 2009, 05:23 PM [Street Fighter]

She's topping the list of yahoo.com's most popular Halloween costumes, beating out perennial sexpots Little Red Riding Hood, and Betty Boop, and "Duke" from G.I. Joe.

I, for one, thoroughly approve. You can Chun-ify yourself here (and probably lots of other places too).

Thanks to Unity's The Lone Dragon for the heads-up.
