For those of you not lucky enough to live near a Street Fighter IV arcade cabinet, here are a few good videos from Japan, featuring EVO winners Tetsuya "INO" Inoue (playing the Dictator) and the legendary Daigo "the Beast" Umehara (playing Ryu).  

Lots of clever uses of the Focus Attack here and just all-around sharp play, and we've only just begun to see what SFIV is all about!

We could sit here and talk about these movies, or you could shut up, buy them, and already be watching Van Damme making the same face he makes constantly as he kicks famously evil butts including Lance Henriksen and Ron Silver (note he is in fact making the same face in all of these covers).

In addition to all the win in Street Fighter: the Movie, I'd also like to put in a good word for Hard Target (the sequel to the never-released and much less exciting "Easy Target" that was over in 5 minutes), but let's not forget our real motivation, people: it's only $15.49 over at Amazon for 6+ hours of Van Damage!

So yes, some pictures of our new fighting sticks and pads have been leaking out of the Gamestop managers show in Vegas (hi Rotendo!).  We are working very closely with Mad Catz to produce what we think will be the best fighting sticks and pads ever released, and we're happy to see the initial reaction has been so positive.  

Although internet smartypantses have already spotted a few little things, stay tuned here for a full breakdown of all the thinking behind their creation and the many special touches we've added.  For anyone that's ever been serious about their controllers, I think you're going to be very, very happy.

The Wired blog has some exciting new research from the Department of Extremely Bad Ideas:  DIY wrist-mounted flamethrowers.  Just think about all the fun you can have trading hadokens with your friends before you inevitably melt your faces off! 

This guy makes a very creepy face when he's looking into the fire, but I guess that goes with the territory when this is how you spend your free time...
