If you're hungry for some RE movie-news, you should really be following Milla on twitter. Yes, it's really her, and she's been unloading a dumptruck of semi-coherent updates!:
so wild, we just got the diary back from RE3 and this guy bought it, so we had to track him down and now its "on loan" to us!
apparently he's a serious collecter who has spent like 40k on RE paraphernalia.
but i had asked to keep my kukris(alice's machetes)and was told that they couldnt b found!lol! well, this guy bought them!
Trailer is in Japanese, but you get a great look at what's going to be some Capcom fan's favorite new game. Basically you get surprise murdered in the first scene, and then spend the game using your ghostly powers to defend your girl while trying to get to understand the mystery of why you were killed in the first place.
I had a chance to play through the Ghost Trick demo at TGS this year, and I have to say that even without speaking a word of Japanese, I had a blast. It's got a great sense of style, humor, and the silkiest animation I've ever seen on a DS.
This will be making it's way west in 2010, so stay tuned...
First up is the winner of the Capcom pumpkin-carving contest (our Mega Man pumpkin came in 3rd), which stole the show with its outstanding lighting effects. You've got Dark Void's Will (in helmet) up front, and the illuminificated DV logo shining out the back.
It was just plain purdy, and carved by Brian, the easily-found Waldo pictured on the right.
Next is one of our favorite Capcom costumes this year. It didn't make it into our costume contest, but in truth, this is less a costume than a lifestyle, and... wow. Just wow:
--Crazy beard and mohawk? Check.
--Banana-hammock? Check.
--Bear-wrestling scars? Check.
--Appropriately shaved chest-hair? Double-check.
In short, some of the finest, most terrifying Zangief cosplay on record. Thanks to Shana and Danny for the pix!
Although there were a few actually good parts of that show, this episode "Curse of the Lion Men" may have been written by people with a serious drug problem. To avoid the chance you might actually watch the entire thing, here's a mind-bending 2-minute recap that pretty much hits the high notes.
And for anyone that really hates themselves, head over to Jaroo (like Hulu for old kids cartoons) The Mega Man-tastic episode of Captain N, "Mega Trouble in Mega Land."
Is it me, or do we have some really beautiful Wii games lately? I already know some of the levels in this game like the back of my hand, but seeing this trailer still gets me hype :)
RE: TDSC arrives November 17th--that's less than two weeks away people!
