I would like to know how I got from playing Atari, Nintendo's, Genisis's, Gameboy's, PSP's, and the first 2 Paystations with no problems (and I still own most of those systems), to the point I am today. I've seen all the hype of the RROD and thought Microsoft was past it, in September I purchased my first 360 and found they obviously still had RROD issues. Blah, blah, blah, I got a new one with a new warranty, so... all is well that ends well right? NO... you see I've also seem to stumble upon another problem with another next gen system. Although it is less of an issue for Sony, it is a much greater issue for me. My launch 60gb PS3 ate the big blinking yellow light bullet... just in time for the holidays! I have no issues to date with my Playstation3 and played it almost every day since launch. Maybe that's the problem eh? Maybe I got my $600 worth of playtime from it? Maybe, things should go back to the way they were and I shouldn't have to buy the same console 15 times! Maybe when they build these things, they should expect that I play it non-stop and keep buying games. Well maybe, third party dev's should thank Sony this X-Mas for 1 less sale, because instead of buying, another 2 or 3 games I have to pay $150.00 just to have what I though I already payed for... Oh, and one more thing, CHANGE THE DAMN D-PAD ON THOSE FUNK ARSE BATTERY EATING WORTHLESS CONTROLLERS M'SOFT. If you want to go after family gaming maybe you should have a controller that's good for something besides 3-D shooters!
Sorry if my Grand Theft of a consoles life makes me sound angry.
