For months, Capcom has been keeping a REALLY BIG secret...
In spite of the interest we've seen in Dark Void so far, something wasn't right... Cell processors, complex shaders, and dual analog sticks, although modern, really don't capture the essence of what we set out to accomplish. Additionally, extensive market research has taught us that “photo-realistic graphics" are so totally last-gen. To that end, we’ve thrown out the last two years of development in favor of a totally new direction.
And now, since it’s finally April, I’m excited to announce some fantastic new changes to Dark Void!
The innovations don’t stop there, as the new Dark Void will be utilizing a state-of-the-art password system to track your game progress. Why fiddle with storage devices or chance corrupted save data, when you can simply enter one of a hundred easy-to-remember 16-character alpha-numerics and load directly to your last checkpoint! Amazing!

(This image makes simply lovely wallpaper, btw.)
I can also reveal our nifty, new cover art.
And last but not least, this announcement wouldn’t be complete without the debut of our title music, in all its 8-bit glory!
The age of 8-bit has returned!
Yours truly,
The Dark Void Team
(FYI, the above 8-bit theme is actually a remix of our original theme. It was cooked up by our game’s composer, a man who also happens to be a big fan of the classics!
Who might this retro gaming music lover be? Well, I'm pretty sure you won't have to wait too long for an official announcement...)

Happy April Fool's Day! :)
