    Ah yes, the Champion joystick. My first joystick was actually the Capcom Fighting Pro stick (the one they released with Hyper Fighting).



    As for your worries about Sanwa parts not being made anymore, I think you might have a couple of things switched around. The parts manufacturer itself is the Sanwa Denshi company. JAMMA refers to a wiring standard that arcade game makers make their boards adhere to so they can be easily plugged into cabinets. Sanwa has made Japanese arcade joysticks for ages. I think there'd be a bloody rebellion of they were to ever stop making sticks. :)



    I can't say anything as to the PS4 question... I honestly have no idea. But PS1 controllers have been easily used with the PS2, and PS2 controllers have cheap and readily available adapters for the PS3. If that trend continues, you'll be in good shape with a PS3 controller.
