Midway's huge debt is taking it's toll. The Mortal Komnat franchise is officially up for grabs. Capcom's unprecedented experience in the genre could ressurrect this great franchise to its former glory. I am not suggesting a purchase simply to get my wish of a Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat (as likely as that would be if the purchase were to happen). I am suggesting this because Capcom has the tools to bring onboard a franchise with a huge fanbase. Not only is it possible but we, the MK fans, could finally see anotther great Mortal Kombat game. I think, if enough fans rally behind the idea, Capcom will hear us. They heard when we needed Street Fighter 2 brought back. They heard us when we wanted Lost Planet 2. Let them hear us now.
