New Monster Hunter Tri Screens, Areas, Monsters, and More

Jul 08, 2009 // Snow

The Official Japanese Monster Hunter Tri site has a ton of new info and is loaded with new screens of monsters, areas, weapons, game modes, and more.  The villages are packed with all sorts of things to explore, from towns full of merchants, to your basic farm for growing and harvesting items and materials.  Monster Hunter Tri even allows for two player split screen multiplayer , and introduces some new game modes instead of just co-op…

The new areas are just as varied as you can come to expect from any Monster Hunter game, featuring even hunting in an active volcano . And since Tri introduces these new areas, there’s plenty of monsters to hunt, even a giant angler fish

MH Tri can be played with a Classic Controller, or Classic Controller Pro, but it just wouldn’t be a Wii game without the ability to use the Wii-mote and Nunchuck. Check out the controls here

Monster Hunter Tri hits shelves in Japan on August 1st! Do some digging around in the site right here
