When it comes to Lost Planet 2, we listen to you, the fans. And after listening to your excitement, we have some awesome news today. When you pre-order Lost Planet 2 at GameStop you'll be able to download two exclusive multiplayer battle maps! Both feature something we've not talked a whole lot about: Underwater combat! That's right, swimming while shootin'. Better still, there's Vital Suits MADE for the aquatic parts that can turn into mini submarines of doom. 

Now what about that customizable Wesker skin and revolver? Well, we've decided to make him available to everyone who plays Lost Planet 2. 

And there's one more big announcement. We're happy to announce that Splitscreen support will be available in Lost Planet 2! Now you can take on the epic battles of EDN III and blast massive Akrid with a friend on the same couch. 

Here's some details on the maps:

Helix 
The underwater NEVEC mining facility houses several layers and twisted corridors.  Swim between the layers, or dive to the bottom to change your point of attack.  Aqua Catapults can launch you to the upper levels in a hurry, and you must learn every corner and get the upper hand on your enemies.   

Back to the Island 
The shady atoll of Island 902 is broken into wide open spaces and compact interiors.  Choose your battlefield from the beaches to the battered carrier, or explore a new dimension in the underwater battle.  Control the bridge to dominate the map, but beware attacks from all sides.
