Earlier this week I put up a video of a team of Japanese Monster Hunter Tri players who took down an Alatreon in 45 seconds. But just watching them do it can be a bit confusing. Thankfully, SocialDissonance and his team have put together an amazing guide when it comes to hunting that Alatreon. Not only do they walk you through step by step, making it easy to understand, they also do a couple of very important things: They break both the horns and the wings of the monster. That is essential for getting the Skypiercer and Webbing items, both of which you'll need to complete the armor set.

The Alatreon weapons and armor are worth creating. Not only do they look fantastic, they also have decent skills. Awakening, Blightproof, and Evasion Up plus six gem slots gives you a lot to work with (thanks MH Wikia!).
