Let's Get Super SFIV on PC!!

Saturday, February 20, 2010, 01:45 PM CST [General]

    Dear Capcom,

You have listened to the fans in your decision on what new characters would make it into Super Street Fighter IV so don't stop listening now. There are SF fans who would love for Super SFIV to be released on PC. I know you can't stop the internets (pirates), but you do have PC gamers as fans. Don't cheat your fans (the people who don't torrent games) out of the chance to experience SSFIV on their PC. Make it happen.

    Gameplay Matters Most :
It’s not unlike me to flip through old gaming magazines strictly for the nostalgia. Yesterday was no different when I picked up an issue of Tips and Tricks published back in 2000. If you do the math, that’s a decade ago. The more things change the more they stay the same unfortunately.

There was one particular article written by Ara Shirinian that compared the graphics of Dead or Alive 2 on Dreamcast and Playstation 2. The article was written to illustrate how minute details in graphics really wouldn’t matter in the future because eventually graphics would be so advanced that gameplay would take precedence. When Ara ended the article by saying, “If one year and 100 MHz (among many other improvements) gives us graphics enhancements this minute, developers may have to actually focus on gameplay and interaction to grab our attention,” it really grabbed my attention. No pun intended. It also, got me thinking about Bayonetta on PS3.

    Ju-On: The Grudge Review:
All most all gamers want to get into video game journalism for one reason: to review games. While I sure as hell shall not complain about being in it (free games + being paid to be a nerd = win), I have to set the record straight. There are times when we feel pain and anguish for accepting this badge of honor. There are video games out there that are BAD! I mean, really bad. Putrid even! Playing these games is torture. Enter Ju-On: The Grudge.

Easiest 200+ Hit Combo in MvC2

Sunday, August 16, 2009, 01:36 AM CST [General]

The easiest way to do this is in a local multiplayer match. So grab a buddy if you can otherwise you're going to have do it solo.

    1. Have the player who wants the over 200 hit combo play as the following characters:

    Cable w/Projectile Assist
    BB Hood w/Projectile Assist
    Anakaris w/Ground Type Assist

The other player should pick 3 Blackheart's w/Launcher Assist

    2. Build up your super meters to level 3.

    3. Initiate Blackhearts triple hyper combo by pressing Assist A & Assist B simultaneously from across the screen

The Cable team should initiate at their triple hyper combo right after. The Cable team will get well over 200 hits just by letting the hyper combos do all the work.
