Oh man, movies like this, "The Machine Girl," and "Robo Geisha" do not really interest me, primarily because they all seem entirely too fake. I would probably watch "Versus" before this kind, maybe because I have a feeling it'll be more visceral. But, I would not know. Have you seen anything for any of those movies, like trailers, or perhaps SEEN those movies I just listed? I've not seen them either, mainly because the trailers just turned me away from them.
I think one that is probably similar yet more controlled, perhaps with more substance, and maybe even a bit more fun because of its pedigree would be the live-action film "Blood: The Last Vampire." If you haven't seen that one, maybe check that out and see if it's "too much" for you. I suspect "Tokyo Gore Police" is going to be, mmm... difficult, unless you enjoy that sort of thing, meaning theatricality and massive amounts of sadistic violence and gore, but not even things that are believable. If you ARE a fan of that, then I might also recommend "Tokyo Fist" and to a lesser violent/gorey degree, "Pistol Opera." "Pistol Opera" is probably the more developed film on this list, though not really a gore-fest.
