Hey all, Gerald here with my first blog post. It was originally going to be my experiences at Comic Con this past summer but I got lazy and ended up scrapping the post. I'll definitely post pictures of our awesome booth and my awesome co-workers.
Well summer has finally come to an end for most of us; if you're a student that is. I'm starting my nTh year at San Jose State University and I seriously need to get out of there. Why am I telling you all this, you ask? An old friend of mine sent me a message on MySpace telling me about Street Fighter IV and asked if I played it yet.
For almost a year now I've been the Public Relations intern here at Capcom and I'm totally loving it. With that said, of course I've played SFIV although I've never been really good at fighting games. My all time fave fighting game though is Capcom vs. SNK2. Anyway I digress.
The reason why I'm writing this is that my old friend told me that we have an SFIV machine located in the bowels of the student union at SJSU. As soon as I heard this, I immediately e-mailed my boss, Kramez and told him about it. Aside from the usual errands I run for the team, I was sent on my first, real field assignment. Although I am no shutter bug, I, equipped with my trusty Canon PowerShot SD1000, I ventured into the student union (last time I was here was at the end of spring playing ping-pong) and began shooting.
A little info about the machines. At least they kept it Japanese style with 1 player to a machine. Unfortunately the cabinets doesn't do the game justice and on top of that it's 75 cents to play. On the bright side, the game generated quite a crowd but luckily I was able to get these shots in. Like I said, I'm no shutterbug so don't yell at me for the quality of these pics. ^^
