It's always great to read a review when it is clear that a quality amount of time was invested into getting to know the ins and outs of a game before writing about it. The result (at least what you hope to see) is a comprehensive, fair review based on the merits of the whole product and not an initial impression of the beginning features.
Thanks to the Official Nintendo Magazine UK for giving Spyborgs that kind of time and creating such a fair review.
That's right, the 3rd and final Spyborgs webisode has arrived. Questions answered include: Where IS Kinetic's processing core anyway? Is the arrogant jerk with the haughty accent really the villain? All will be revealed in Webisode 3: the Betrayal!
The full story (and plenty of bot-smashy goodness) is of course in the game, which lands next Tuesday, September 22nd (or buy it now).
Finally, I promise this is the last time I'll say "webisode" this week:
Great run-through on what to expect from next week's release of Spyborgs, courtesy of G4's X-Play and 'Borgs producer Daryl Allison.
There's face-bashing, boss-fighting, totally different styles of playable characters (and you can switch between them on the fly, mid-level), and of course combos galore. Spyborgs lands in stores everywhere next Tuesday, Septmeber 22nd, or pick it up right now.
It's Spyborgs Webisode 2 (of 3), introducing Bouncer and Stinger's upgraded arm. It's also chock full of lesser-known Spyborgs aracana--did you know the Spyborgs had a mansion? News you can use, people!
For anyone not already up to date, you can find Episode 1 here.
After a long delay, we're finally bringing you Spyborgs Webisode #2 of 3. If you didn't figure it out, these webisodes are the prequel story which leads into the Comic Book (available free on Spyborgs.com this week) and ulimately the start of the Wii-exclusive game which ships 9/22!
I know there are some of you that liked #1, but there were many more that were vocal of not liking it, so we went back to the drawing board to amp up everything about the series. As you can see in the above image, we've really spent a lot of time enhancing the artwork - bringing an amazing level of detail and quality that is unheard of in "webisodes". But we didn't stop there - we revised the scripts, animation and voice acting to really deliver the top-notch quality you expect from Capcom! So know that all opinions whether positive or negative, are listened to us at Capcom - make sure you keep telling us what you think!
Anyway, look out for it tomorrow. It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but we won't make you wait long to see #3 - that will come out this week too!
