The trouble with Spyborgs

The trouble with Spyborgs is that it doesn't seem like a game that should be the linchpin of a console strategy. It's like Kevin Correia or Jesse Litsch or pick-your-team's-5th-starter. Sure, its fine to have a guy like that in your rotation, but you need a Tim Lincecum or Roy Halladay at the top. People would understandably be nervous if a team came into the season with 5 Kevin Correias in the rotation, and even more nervous if it was just one Jesse Litsch. Nobody thinks the Wii will be worse off for having Spyborgs in its library, but when the PS360 has more announced upcoming downloadable titles than the Wii has announced upcoming retail titles, what little we have coming is going to be under a huge microscope.

And with all due respect, I'm trying not to be pessimistic about Spyborgs, and I know that there is information you guys have about the game that you're not at liberty to share with us, but everything we know comes from you guys, and that includes very litle, so you should be able to see why we're not excited about toilet humour mini-games between levels, even though they will ultimately play a very small role in the final game. (Right!?)

I understand... but wait and see before you pass judgement.

If by salt you mean Rayman 2: Great Escape, then I'm all for it!

"How many Wii titles have online co-op, even from Nintendo?" - Sven... so you want Capcom to be as mediocre as the rest of Wii developers? Figures.

I personally think Spyborgs is exactly what the Wii is missing and it'd be a good addition for casual and hardcore gamers to enjoy.

I've been watching trailers and dev walk-throughs and I'm pretty much sold.

From what I have seen so far from gameplay it looks really interesting.  It's already one of my planned games to buy.

I like that battle scene with the giant robot.  So far it looks good and I can't wait to play it.
