Lost Planet is not a good game to judge your pc, i have above the rec req and it still runs like ****. I dont get why you and others dont think this game will run on some lower end machines just because its an xbox 360 port.. its still just a 2d fighting game with 3d style art, its not like starcraft 2 or something where theres going to be like a hundred+ units on the screen with explosions and rockets n **** like that where it really test your cpu. Another thing that they did right was the art direction they took, if you look at games like TF2 and WoW the cartoonish looks helps older pc's run them fine, and they still look really sweet on newer pc's.

Actually, Team Fortress 2 doesn't require as much as Lost Planet needs. Despite this fact, I was only using Lost Planet as an example.

Also, I never said it won't run on lower status computers rather the fact that it will not run at a maximum capacity.

i never said TF2 requires more or less then lost planet, i said that most games with cartoony graphics usualy looks good and runs good on most pc's. and of course if u have a lower end pc its not going to play on max settings..thats a givin.

Yeah. The less the quality, the lower the performance. At least we all are here to get the game and experience this incredible installment.Laughing

Frank, the compatibility should work as long as it uses a USB and recognizes it as a controller but be sure not to break rule

#11. No pirating games, illegal roms, warez, emulators, hacking consoles, mod chips, Iso's, Firmware etc talk will be allowed. This is true for Capcom and non-Capcom titles. Breaking of this rule results in a deletion of thread and a Ban.

Welcome to Capcom Unity and here's the set of rules.

Would the ps3 version of the SF4 fightpad work on the computer?  I know the xbox360 one will, but I'm not sure about this one (ps3 version):

I figured I'd post in this mamoth thread before starting a new one...

I'm planning on purchasing SF4 on Steam as soon as it is available. I'm a bit concerned I might have problems with regions, however.

I'm currently living in east Asia (Beijing specifically) for school. Street Fighter has typically had seperate releases for different regions, notably for things like the different names of Boxer, Claw, and Dictator.

Will the PC game have different regions? If so, will the different regions of the game be compatible with each other for online play? Naturally I want to be able to play online with people who are close to me for connection reasons. I'm currious whether I'll be able to use my version purchased in Asia when I get back to the states. I'm also wondering whether the Asian version (if there is one) will be available to me on Steam.

@Jason

Good question. You should put it in the Ask Capcom forum. We never had an official reply in this thread.

what do you guys think of a audio and visual combo timing training, i was thinking in order to learn the timiing to many of the combo's in training maybe a audio bleep when each move needs to be executed, im sure it would not be too hard to programme, & a visual bar, maybe even the bars that already move near the energy bar.

The regions shouldn't matter but as for the PS3 controller, it will work as long as it's on Steam or GFW detects it as a pad. Either way, it shouldn't matter but if GFW doesn't detect it, you might need a program to help you out.

$40? After a few months, the price should dramatically decrease.
