With making a game where expectations are so high, I'm sure development was difficult. What was the most difficult part developing this game for the arcade and what was the easiest? And what was the most difficult challenge you faced when porting the game to consoles? |

Dear Ono-san
Thank you for the work on the great reboot into the fighting series we love.
My question is , Since you been traveling to alot of the major events lately like the Jpn Nationals for Sf4, CES, Comic Con, E3 and other major and minor shows all over the world. What has been your favorite event,PR or fan based, you've been proud to attend being able to show off the game and why? Also does this make you embrace feeling like a world warrior ala Street Fighter In general? |

Tas, at first I too thought compliling the questions would have been a good idea. It's not.... Main reason, I think it takes away from the excitment of hearing your actual question being answered. Plus the way you have it "written down", is as if he has already directly answered those type of questions before.
Was my Mortal Kombat/SF post deleted? |

Hi Folks, this is Gearoid here from the Top Secret podcast. Thanks for all your questions - way, waaaay more than we thought we would get. Time is now up for submitting, so no more questions please! Also, while we will do our best to put as many questions to David and Ono-san as we can, please be aware that there is no way we will be able to get to them all, so apologies in advance if your question is not featured. The podcast will be available from the Bionic Commando website on February 3rd. The winners of the hats will be announced on the podcast itself. |

Tas, at first I too thought compliling the questions would have been a good idea. It's not.... Main reason, I think it takes away from the excitment of hearing your actual question being answered. There are over 300 posts in this thread many of which are asking the same questions, so why should Poster A get their SF3 questions asked over Poster B's SF3 question? Some of the questions on here use the same wording as well, so how is that supposed to make Poster A feel when it's Poster B's name read aloud asking the question and not his own, even though he presented the exact same question? Using SF3 again for an example you have posts in this thread that address certain aspects of it in SFIV while there are other posts that point out or ask other things about SF3 in relation to SF4 that the previous post didn't address, so should every different SF3 question be asked, or would it be better to just have SF3 and it's relation to SFIV addressed as whole? The questions and answers conducted in the interview should be what works best for everybody as a whole, not a specific person. It's narsasistic to care about your specific question opposed to the question as a whole which alot of other people may be asking as well. The other times that interviews have been conducted on Top Secret it's been fairly simple and the question threads for those didn't present the same problems that this one does. Also realize that Ono and David are only going to be able to answer several questions, not 300, then think about going through this entire thread and picking those seven questions. Which seven would you choose and why? For instance would you choose who asked first or who worded it the best? Would you choose somebody that's made a single post here over someone that's been more actively involved on here?
Plus the way you have it "written down", is as if he has already directly answered those type of questions before. That's because almost all these questions have already been answered before and I already know the answers to most of these questions, so I can kind of predict the type of answers that are going to be given since we've already gotten before, and I wanted to try and avoid that. You have to understand that what I wrote out isn't going to be asked in it's entirety, but rather something like "There has been alot of confusion and complaints as to the nature of SF3, it's characters, story, and it's overall relation to SFIV. Could you please explain why these characters were omitted from SFIV?" then Ono and David could use everything I else I posted as a sort of guideline for answering the question and/or what specific subjects to address when talking about SF3 in relation to SF4. I structured the questions in such a way to allow Ono and David to given better responses/answers then those that we've already heard before or that don't really answer things specifically. Not everyone that listens to the podcast posts on these forums or even posted in this thread, and another reason I did things the way I did was to allow those reading over what I posted to realize or figure out for themselves why something is the way it is by presenting things the way I did just in case didn't get answered or they don't listen to the podcast. |
