Oh you guys are lucky. I asked futureshop and they said they aren't taking preorders. It's the only place I have to go cause $34 of my sf4 fund lies in a futureshop gift card which I intend to spend. I'm hoping it doesn't sell out :( . There is one right by my school but it's in a downtown area and the stores there are always crowded and that futureshop rarely has a good stock of anything except pc accessories so I hope it doesn't go out fast :(. I have 1 midterm that day so I guess I'm gonna have to find a friend to line up for me.

If enough support is made and if this game makes enough profit, then we might be able to get a new Darkstalkers sequel in the style of Street Fighter IV or even better!!!

i am definitely going to buy the collector's edition, but i still need to pre-order it though! haha.


hope they don't run out, i am so excited for this game. hm, i wonder where i should get it.

Preordered mine ages ago so I'm fine... If I don't get it then I'll be blowing up Gameplay in the near future :P




News that day would go something like this:


"The BBC news reports that a male, dressed up in a sailor fuku was spotted shortly after a Gameplay store exploded, crazily screaming that if he wasn't getting SFIV, then no one was getting SFIV."

Just a note: Don't forget about Walmart and Target, everyone. Well, Target won't have the Collectors Edition so far, but at least Walmart does. I can't say if there will be a line or not when midnight comes around because I don't think anyone would consider Walmart but only a few, since everyone else has made their local Gamestop store the place to go to for SFIV.


But if Gamestop fails, then you can try out Walmart for the Collectors Edition.

haha same here. i preordered back in June!


i just got back from some game stores here in So. Cal. and im pretty sure its the same across the US.


Gamestop will get their games on the 17th, if not...18th the latest (which is expected).


Gamecrazy is actually getting their games EARLY. so, preorder with them, u could get it as early as Sunday, but most likely Monday if u cant really wait another day or two. Also, there are some Game Crazy stores who are actually taking pre-orders yet again for the TE stick and also the standard sticks and FightPads since Gamestop isnt taking preorders for the pads. Theyre alsp coming out with a special medilian with the game.


And CE orders are starting to close out every where so id hurry if u havent done so already!

Actually I went back to Gamestop to make sure it was the CE edition since it didn't say "CE" in the reciept so I was like "you sure it's the CE?" And yes they checked.



But not only the CE, bet even the regular edition is gonna sell like crazy!




Yeah, hopefully after it does well, they'll realize SFV can get a decent budget, like RE gets.

Thanks for the info, I'm really glad that I got my collectors edition pre ordered 11 days before christmas lol  and that was nearly when it first came to the pre order section on gameplay aswell, but they are still available to pre order on gameplay still :s
