For anyone planning on buying SFIV Collector's Edition

Anybody in this thread manage a GameStop or GameCrazy? I know the first reply mentioned they had stopped taking Collector's Edition preorders already... PS- Gamecrazy is not authorized to break street-date on SFIV, so no, you can't get it there a day early best, Seth Ask me about my beard. Or don't. It's cool either way.

David Posts: 52	I don't manage a Gamestop or Gamecrazy, I assistant-manage a mom and pa shop in ohio and we're already sold out on all our preorders for it. Also, to clarify on the street date being broken, you can't ensure that a store is going to follow that policy, seeing as there'll probably always be cases of an uninformed employee that does it (it seems the big orange stickers that say "DO NOT SELL BEFORE __/__/____ do not help), most companies just hang over the company's head a fee for selling it early. A good example is Halo 3, and our store was able to get it up to a week early. The fee for breaking street date on it was anywhere from $50,000 to $250,000. So as a small store we couldn't afford to have any incidents and didn't get it until the day the midnight launch happened.
