Mann, pre orders must be really bad in the US, they seem to be ok over here in the UK and you can just walk into a shop and find that there is alot of bustbusters games still saleing on their launch days lol, the only time the UK had problems with preorders really was when the Wii came out.

You don't have moments like this in the UK?

i would also suggest double checking with your game stores on your preorders. mine for instance is at gamestop and i wanted to make sure i got my CE reserved. and surprise surprise, i got a preorder but it wasnt the CE even though they have my min. deposit of 10 dollars. so, just to be safe, id give them a ring and ask them to look up your orders and make sure u got what u reserved~!!!! im gonna go back and check again later today! Cool

^ very important tip. they actually mixed up my TE Stick preorders with regular fight sticks and i'm unable to switch mine because all the orders are haulted for the TE. you can imagine my distaste with who helped me.

so it's definately a good practice to double check on your SFIV related preorders!

Not to my knowledge :P

The smart people (e.g. me) will preorder from Gameplay and get it a day before release if lucky :P (oops shouldn't have said that, Seth will go postal hehe). Since Gameplay is an online store they send their games off two days early to garantee it arrives on release date, luckily more often than not it only takes one day to get here :P It also means I don't need to worry about going to the shops either :P

There's also like 10 different shops in town that sell computer games so the chance of a new release being sold out is quite low. I've seen CEs in the display cases after release date too.

Only game that Gameplay was "out of stock" before release was GTA4 but they had the CE with the bag and stuff :P I didn't want that so I just went into town and there were loads in stock at GAME :P

Hey ShinobiSteve, you have 360 or PS3? :)

Nope I have never seen it that busy in the UK especially when it comes to blockbuster games, you could just walk in has normal and find alot of blockbuster games in stock still lol and Sugami I have a 360 :), Plus I must be smart then since I pre ordered my CE from Gameplay.

For those who are in Seattle, Game Crazy is doing midnight release and also holding Street Fighter tournament that night with some great prizes.

No I don't work for them.. but they are the only store that have midnight release for SFIV in Seattle , so I think some of the fans might appreciate that.

I never pre-order anything, I just get it when I get it.

But, there is a 1st time for everything :)

This is Street Fighter for crying out loud! This is not just some normal video game...

I pre-ordered the SE version (PS3) and that sweet Blanka fightpad (PS3).

Good man, if I do end up getting a fightpad at some point (if my EX2 goes bad for instance) - the Blanka one is the one to go with.
