I just got my Fightpad today. The first surprise was that it requires 2 AA batteries. No USB plug-in option. That's good or bad, depending on your situation. Second, I got the Ken model because no one had the Akuma one. Looks really nice! The grip is comfortable, and the buttons are larger and less stiff than the sixaxis. The D-pad is...well it's a mixed bag. It's better than the sixaxis, no doubt, but it feels...weird. I guess it's gonna take some time to get used to. It feels very loose. Comfortable, but loose. Moves seem to be easier to pull off, but still working the kinks as I get used to the new pad. Overall, I'm only slightly disappointed with it. I couldn't wait to do away with the sixaxis so at least this will hold me over until I can get a TE stick. Any one else have one? What do you think of it? |

dont like it at alll....TE=perfection 10/10 figtpad=4/10 they made the Dpad wayyy too big...it requires longer range of motion to perform your moves...the SNES dpad was tiny ..therefore a shirter range of motion was required whcih made the moves come out when you wanted them....LOTS of us pleaded with mad cats to release an SNES style d pad...but nobody listened....now we have this..im trying to sell mine as we speak...hope somebody will buy it... |

I know it's not "great", but when you can't get a stick, it's the next best thing. I'm sure even you can admit that at least it's better than the crappy sixaxis. It's definitely more comfortable and less straining on the fingers. I personally like it. |

I dont have a 360, but from what I hear, it is THE worst controller you can possibly use for Street Fighter. At least the sixaxis is playable, just stiff as a rock. Definitely a good idea to get a Fightpad in that case. Again, for me, it's just a simple matter of availability, because I would be using a TE stick if I could actually get my hands on one. |

I know the Sega Saturn Pad was the best ever for Street Fighter. Did they design this modelled after the Sega Saturn pad? |

I don't find the PS3 controller to be bad at all. To me it feels great and works perfectly. When using the PS3 or the SNES pads I play better then I do in the arcades. I guess it might be due to the fact that I did most of my street fighter practice on the SNES when SF2 came out. I had the arcade joysticks which was modded to work with a SNES which I also used. Played a lot in the arcades and SNES but I would say mostly on the SNES as 50 cent was a lot for a kid. |

I picked up my FightPad today along with a copy of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. The FightPad is absolutely flawless on HD Remix. Best pad this side of Sega Saturn. |

I like the 360 default pad. I have no problem pulling off any move on command. It's responsive to movement too. I just don't like shoulder buttons, but it has become a non-issue after playing with it for a while. |
