Praise: Starting to get into this game, wasn't impressed at first, the graphics are great, I'm digging the music, I like how there are individual quotes for each opponent you defeat in arcade mode. Unlocked everyone except for Seth which I am working on right now. Complaints: Couldn't get my hands on a CE, I didn't think they would go this fast, but you warned us. You can still find some but they cost an arm and leg, more than I'm willing to pay when all I really wanted was Ties That Bind, the CD would have been neat too. The starting and ending cut scenes don't add much to the story, they fill you in, but I was expecting a lot more, the in game cut scenes look a lot better than the anime, I would have preferred those over the anime, but I'm guessing that would cost a lot. Still no adventure mode, the one player experience could be so much more. No bonus stages, you can't call this Street Fighter without those, well you can, but still, come on. Still more praise and complaints to come when I sit down with game a little bit more. |

Overall this is a pretty solid game....but it does have some problems Lack of a quarter match: Come on this was great in SSF2THDR why not slap it on SF4? Rufus: Need I say more? Zangief's and Seth's unstoppable grab: NO MOAR GETTING GRABBED WHILE IM DOING TEH RAGING DEMON PLZ! ;) Seriously though that thing is just dumb. Getting grabbed mid punch/kick and getting grabbed at the start of supers and ultras is very agrivating. last but not least Seth! The guy needs to be at about a 10 and as of right now hes at 11.5 Thats all folks! |

DJ pretty much nailed it. The game play is awesome that goes without saying. I love using blanka, and his diagonal ball seems to hit a bad frame. It counts as a "cross-over" and it sickens me. I love playing against good Vega players, but vegas angle should be slightly steeper. Many times they've hit the hitbox and nothign would happen. Lastly is zangief, just animate the grabs, rather than it just happen. again just some polish rather than a complaint. A complaint would be the Vacuum Silver Surfer. He's not hard more so than tedious and a stupid idea. At least some pants would have been nice. Other wise he looks like a runners up Emmy, concept art was cool, but... should havebeen scrapped. He's not hard again, it takes time. My poit is he's just not fun. Getting demolished by Akuma in Arcade mode made sense. It was fun too watching the AI pull off crazy ****, and in shock of how to work around him. I miss that already, i was hoping he'd a a fun character to face, rather than play like an online ken player. Though i guess once the Arcade mode achievements are done i don't need to worry about it too. |

you see Seth's opening movie with him wearing cloths? He's fighting in the nude. the Only complaint I have about Seth is that the whole artificial fighter with moves stolen from other fighters thing has been done to death. Some examples *Chaos* from the Battle Arena Toshinden anime, and Cell from Dragon Ball Z. Someone somewhere on the forum suggested the other Seth's having other combinations of the fighters powers, that would be even worse because then it would feel like the recent cheesy thing Marvel did with the army of Super-Skrulls (the original of course copying the powers of the Fantastic Four) the others had various combinations of other Earth hero and villain powers. |

I like your writing style, quite amusing :) While you make a lot of good points you have to look past the horrbile AI to the core of the game, that's the awesomeness right there. P.S. EX was fun, I wouldn't call it awesome though :P

SFIV has me hooked. I haven't played any other games since its release. I've been playing nothing but ranked matches and those are very cool. Here's my complaint: Installation is not required on the PS3 version. I hate waiting 15 seconds for a match to begin. It's rather irritating. The installation just takes a few minutes and it speeds up the game considerably. |

Probably because people complained about it being mandatory for DMC4 when it didn't really help all that much anyways (people = Penny-Arcade). So they gave you the option instead of forcing it on you :P

I am almost to the point of snapping this POS game in half. El furata vs Seth on Easist = frustration. After an hour of dying due to throws I gave up on getting the last remaing locked characters. Capcom, you really screwed up with this game. |
