I never thought about that one, that's very interesting (in Bold above)!

Yes that is interesting but not too out there. There must be people who are interested in obtaining the level Akuma has reached and are intrigued by his power. |

Before you make such a ridiculous thread, you first have to put up an argument validating the importance of "balancing" all the characters to begin with. Why should all the characters be balanced? I like having weaklings around to make the good characters even cooler. You might be right about some of them, though. Crimson Viper Crimson Viper is by NO stretch of the imagination an S-tier character, YOU FOOL! Dan ... how about get rid of him! I hate the wasted slot, too! That character should have never seen another game past 'Alpha 3!' With the space wasted on Dan, Capcom could have instead used it for a fantastic character like Adon. Masaru Awful idea. Geki Geki is related to Ibuki? Is that true? I had no idea! That's awesome! Okay, so the move-list should be the same as Ibuki's, yet you earlier stated how much you dislike Akuma having the same moves as other characters? NO! No! No! No! NO! END this ridiculous CLONING that Capcom has been doing NOW! Street Fighter IV added completely unique new characters that filled gaps in gameplay! That was a great step forward, and I DO NOT want to see more wasted memory on characters with the same fighting styles! It makes NO sense! Dee Jay, Thunderhawk I'd just like to have Dee Jay. They should have already included him the first time. Why didn't they just use the SPACE they WASTED on DAN to have Dee Jay in? Karin I hate you.
I'd really like to get my hands on the person who designed the code for this forum.

I'm really happy about the new installment of the Street Fighter Series, Street Fighter IV. A good mix of serious and goofball elements. But if we're thinking about future, then let's see... On any updates of Street Fighter 4 roster, if possible, then I'd like to see more of tie-ins. First, they could vary up the rivals. I think Viper and Abel are being overemphasized. What does Zangief and Fei Long have to do with Abel, yet they get him as a rival. Even Guile has him as a rival but I guess I get the connection because of his knowledge of a "special someone". Chun Li and Cammy have Viper but I guess that makes sense, but Bison really doesn't have to fool with her too, does he? But it would be nice to see Bison or any other member or Shadowloo be a rival for some of these other guys too in order to vary it up a bit and give you an idea of the overall storyline of the Street Fighter IV episode. Now on improving the roster, I agree with the people who are aching to see some Street Fighter III characters. Storyline-wise, I don't think there are that many years inbetween SF IV and III and Sakura like started fighting when she was like 10 right? lol. Not that much of a difference. But of the Street Fighter III characters, I think Ibuki and Urien will be the most integratable. Ibuki is training to be a ninja right? So, maybe there's something that her organization doesn't like about S.I.N. that's why at Fei Long's ending, Seth was done away with pretty much a "signature Ibuki moment". I don't know, sounds kind of easy to do if the producers wanted to. Can even stick a cameo of Geki in her opening movie. Also, ever notice how Urien has similar moves and style to Seth, not to mention Gill. Hey, make a younger less cheap version of Gill. That would be interesting. Maybe he got his godlike powers from the BLEECE Project...Create almost like an origin storyline there. I'm also a fan of the Mad Gear Gang era, so Hugo maybe? But with Zangief and El Fuerte already representing, might be a bit of a wrestling overkill. Now for inclusion of pre-SFII characters, I'd like to see some real classics: Retsu, prelude to Makoto, as I've heard he fights like her in the original Street Fighter, and Birdie to put a thug in there too. He worked for Shadowloo too right? Maybe Sodom instead but not sure if there are licensing issues there. The inclusion of Adon would be great because it would create kind of a triple threat situation with Ryu and Sagat. I hated his speed too so I'd like to see how it translates on next gen consoles. But being smacked by Sagat in his opening movie makes Adon's inclusion a bit awkward. Finally, Sakura...let her grow up! She should be in college already right? Give her longer hair and a blazer with a sorority logo or something. lol. It won't break her comic concept. I mean, do the same as they did with Ryu. He had red hair and slippers at one point, remember? Just change up the color palate a little to create a more mature Sakura. But I guess that depends on whether producers are considering her to be the heir to Ryu's fighting style, which I believe she is. Have a future female protagonist! She did get a taste of the Satsui No Hado in her ending in SFIV, so might have something there...I mean, Ken's already got Mel, Sean, and possibly Karin, so...I think it's nice to set up rivalry possibilities for like Street Fighter VI or VII. lol. Putting in Dee Jay and T-Hawk would be great for the nostalgia but not sure if they bring anything to the series other than extra beat up time. Their storylines are kind of one dimensional, which only Ryu really can get away with since he's the anchor. So, in going with the tradition of the "New Challengers" of Super SFII, the four I would love to see included as DLCs or future inclusions: Retsu, Birdie, Ibuki, and Urien (or a weaker Gill) So, yeah, I'm just wishing that if Street Fighter IV gets upgraded through DLC's or whatever, it will evolve into more of what it already represents, a transition between the past and future that will fill in ominous gaps with interesting plots. Hey, probably get movie producers thinking about spending more on making "better" street fighter movies in the future, which we'd all like. |

Oh, YEAH! Because that sentence just SCREAMS " festering hatred" all right! And of all the things I said in that post you could have picked to misinterpret as "festering hatred," even the statement "I hate you" -- the ONE statement that hasn't the slightest trace of hatred in it is the one you choose to misinterpret! How do you do that? You're an amazingly obtuse, little turd.

I would say you couldn't, because I have a hard time as it is multi-quoting in my posts. I've had to retype one of my posts literally a dozen times because of the screwed-up BBcode!

@KaiWAi: Dude, you've got some really solid ideas, like OldSchool and ShockDingo said. I agreed w/ Shock on ridding the amnesic bit for Q's backstory (an otherwise great backstory btw); that plot device is just overused...period. In everything xD; you're better than that. But beyond that (and my possible confusion on if Q was actually a cyborg or just a really tall man w/ a silver mask in 3S; I don't think it's ever been clarified either way so I say to w/ the cyborg/humanoid idea), everything else is solid. Really impressed w/ you going the extra mile and drawing out atleast one of his moves too; that's an attack you could easily imagine Q having. Also, since it sounds like you really do know what you're doing on that front, coming up w/ moves (Supers, Ultras, Specials, Unique Normals, Normals, etc. etc) and got Q down pat pretty well, maybe you could make your own version of him in MUGEN or something. I mean, if you know of any better programs then by all means use those, but it'd be pretty awesome to play w/ a pre-3S Q in some form if Capcom doesn't bring him in DASH or any III chars. for that matter. Just a suggestion. Can't wait to hear 'bout the original fighter too; he has a lot of potential w/ his story. |
